so it’s here…that weird time in retail where you start to think about SPRING (even though it’s 5 degrees here & the wind is knocking down trees)…
with my 60 day consignment period i need to think about stuff that comes in NOW…it’s with me for 60 days (if it doesn’t sell) that means it’ll be picked up by around March 10th…really, past the winter cutoff…
i have some spring things in the shop already, i’ve started a small rack of lighter colors (seriously, i love black but let’s get real…these winter colors can get drab & boring…) and short sleeves…i glance at it all day, it makes me happy, hopeful…
so with that being said…as of Saturday i will not longer be accepting winter drop offs…NO MORE…and i will resume taking more SPRING on Feb 1st…that give me a few weeks to get organized, clear out & prepare…(really just figure out what the heck i’m doing…this is my first spring transition….). i’ve asked a lot of other owners, i know i need to be “switched over” by March 1st…but first, i need to stop the intake of winter for a while & take a breath.
so please, have patience during my first transition…hang onto your stuff if you want (or donate if you can’t stand the sight of it)…and start digging through your spring stuff (maybe it’ll put a bounce in your step too????)
